Download/Upload Performance

Here is the performance I am currently getting with acanac. Is this normal? Moreover, my IP address shows (thru IPlocator) as Montreal, Quebec but I am in Toronto.

looks like you are on the wrong profil call or email acanac and ask them to raise your profil to 5056 ds and 800 us Bell tend to put new customer with a lower profil

Yes call support and have it corrected.
Or post your modem stats to see if it can be put on a higher profile. Fastest method is to call support, they're open 'till midnight, Mon - Fri.

Have you checked out the Official Acanac Community Forum?
»community.acanac.com/acanac/index.php

I asked in your other post how you could DSL services if you're in Columbus, OH, I guess it's from when you first registered on the forum.

Thanks, I will contact support to have that corrected. As to Columbus, OH, that was at the time when I registered on DSLreports website.

Speedtest.net frequently produces impossible results.
Why not use Acanac's speedtest instead »www.acanac.ca/speedtest/

Even smarter would be to telnet to the modem (root / admin) and run this command:

cat /*/*/*m_s*

The Maximum Attainable Bit Rate is the modem's estimate of your DS line capacity.
It's probably close to 3Mb/s, which is pretty good, considering your very poor Attenuation.
