Kilroy : I Wooted a refurbed Asus EeePC 900 Netbook. The machine runs a bit slower than I expected, even knowing that SSD writes slower than it reads. I bumped up the RAM to 2GB and haven't noticed any improvement.

I've had it crash twice and upon reboot Windows runs chkdsk and finds problems and fixes them. The last time my Adobe Reader install was corrupted.

Is there any software that will test the SSD drive? From what I saw replacing the memory it isn't really a drive, more like a stick of RAM.
--
When will the people realize that with DRM they aren't purchasing anything?
