Re: [AZ] Goodyear neighborhood slowdown

I just asked a neighbor for a test. This guy lives 6 houses away:

Maybe cox will want to send a tech to his house too and charge him.

Well if you have cox's $3 a month insurance plan, you wont get any tech visit charges.

WARNING! before you go willy nilly sending info to someone with an "official sounding" screen name, make sure they're on the authorised list!

The official guys log ons are in the sticky post about the Cox folks here that are for real.

The Cox guys here are as helpful as they can be. A real asset to Cox and we Cox users. But they can't make the local Cox folks do anything other than what the local Cox dudes want to do.

Looks like I got social hacked! I did send my information to CoxAZTech1 and he is not on the list.

So shouldn't the mods do something about this wrongful solicitation of information? Perhaps ban the screennames that are engineered to look like admins? I'm pretty sure support@hotmail.com was never available to the public.

What would a MAC provide anyway? Owell, If cox can't fix it maybe a cox imposter can help... We'll see after the 6th. (changes are planned on the 6th I hear)

FYI, that handle is actually authorized. Thanks for pointing out that it's not on the list. I'll look into getting that corrected.

Yeah but he has the VIP tag. if they're not on the list and have no VIP tag, i wouldn't send them personal info / mac addresses.

As noted earlier in this thread it's actually authorized but is missing from the list.
