Hmm, oddly enough it has started to work normally. Even did a speedtest.net on the laptop and it was at 5.8. Well, who knows, I guess I scared the gremlins out of my router when I posted on here. Hopefully it keeps working!

Sounds like a router issue. Maybe you should post in the Linksys forum for assistance?

Hi all - recent Comcast survivor who just switch to AT&T phone+Inet. I have the 6Mbit DSL service with the Moto/Netopia 2210 modem.

I've tried various setups but the result is the same - my desktop, which is plugged into my Linksys router (running dd-wrt) works great- I get about 5.8 Mb/s downstream on Speedtest.net, but all of my laptops connected to the router wirelessly are incredibly slow, failing to load some basic sites and loading others at dial-up speed. The same router and laptops worked great with Comcast.

I currently have it setup with the modem in bridged mode and PPPoE through the router, after having reset both the modem and the router and following the FAQ, including setting MTU to 1492. I had also had it running with the modem in its normal non-bridged configuration and the router in auto-DHCP (changed subnet to 192.168.2.1 to avoid conflict there), and the outcome was the same - great speed on my desktop and terrible on any wirelessly connected laptop.

Any ideas? I searched a lot before posting but didn't seem to find anybody with my specific problem. Thanks!
