| [CATV] which HD channels can I expect to get? Hi, I currently have Expanded Basic cable, and today I placed an order to have a CableCARD installed in my TivoHD. While on the phone with the Charter salesman, I was told that in order to receive any HD channels I'd have to pay $5 in addition to the $2 CableCARD rental fee. This seems to be in contradiction to the notice I received with my bill saying that my Expanded Basic package provides me with any available HD versions of channels I currently receive, provided I'm using Charter supplied HD equipment, which I presume the CableCARD to be.
Anyway, leery of what a Charter salesman might say to get me to buy something, I told him just to give me the CableCARD. My question is, after it's installed, should I expect to get all available HD versions of channels on expanded basic (ESPN, USA, etc)?
