| And yet this alleged psychic prefers to use his skills busking for loonies at Yonge and Dundas rather manipulating the wheels on the million $ slot machines at Vegas Casinos, or tripping horses remotely at the track.....
Sounds like a pretty basic magic trick to me. -- Any claim that the root of a problem is simple should be treated the same as a claim that the root of a problem is Bigfoot. Simplicity and Bigfoot are found in the real world with about the same frequency. David Wong | |

| Re: Psychic at Yonge-Dundas Square.. said by LaZ3R :No dang it! It looked really really legit which is what puzzles me ... the ONLY possible way I think he could've done that trick is to have had a really thin and transparent wire attached to the side of the bottle and as he made his final move, he pulled his leg back or something haha. Ah well. That would be my guess - something like 4lb test spider wire monofilament fishing line - ran along tied to a loop hooked under the heal of the shoe. Do the song and dance and show and at the end just give that leg a little tug, poof goes the bottle. Looks amazing. It's all about changing what you are looking at - you're watching the bottle and the moving hands - not paying attention to something else. | |
