Nice theme, but what is "animated" (as mentioned on the download page)?

Also, it messes up my LCD clock (which is old and only works with Mr. Tech, but it doesn't look like this with any other theme. The border is messed up):

Usually a buck which is reasonable considering the dev put their time and effort into it.
