Re: 173 IP?

... also, »www.ip-adress.com/what_is_my_ip/ incorrectly lists i'm in Wichita KS ...
Also incorrectly lists my location as San Francisco, California. That is also wrong.
Is there anything else I should know about the 173? It used to be a revered block I know that but what else is there?
How about:
07/02/09 01:46:43 IP block 173.16.100.100@whois.geektools.com
Trying 173.16.100.100 at ARIN

As U.S. ISPs pick up more customers, and offer more 24/7 Internet connections, they need more IP addresses to assign. So IANA pulls blocks out of reserve and assigns them to the RIRs, such as ARIN, which, in turn, assign them to the requesting ISPs. Sooner, than later, IANA will run out of IPv4 IP addresses, though.
