anon posted : And am very disappointed in the HD quality. With Comcast I got perfect picture quality every time on any HD channel. However with the new FIOS install it looks like I am getting only 720P on the HD channels. Yes I have a HD Panasonic Plasma with 1080p and an HDMI cable and have set the STB to 1080i. I am also using the same cables that I had with Comcast. Everyone who has seen the picture quality previously on Comcast has said what is the problem with your TV? If I did not know better I would think the HD picture is great. But having had it on Comcast for two years I have high expectations. I do not want to cahnge back to Comcast becasue the Internet is far superior on FIOS (the phone is the same). I have a feeling that the feed from FIOS is not 1080i but 720p and no matter what I do it cannot fixed (that is the pessimist in me). Anyone else have any similar experiences? Anyone have a clue as to what might be causing the problem?
