| Maybe I am missing the obvious. The STB is set to 1080i ( I have changed this so many times). HOWEVER...when I change the setting do I need to power cycle the STB for it to take effect or does it take effect immediately? |

That is what I am thinking. I just posted a question asking if anyone knows if the FIOS STB needs to be power cycled after I make the change from 720 to 1080??? |

My FiOS HD STB was 1080i out of the box so I never changed it. You could just try to power cycle it. What model Panasonic do you have?
And, what do you mean by "after I make the change from 720 to 1080." What are you changing? |

| On the remote I change the settings in video from 720p to 1080i. And I never did a power cycle. How can I verify the STB is really outputting 1080i to the TV? |
