The one thing I would check is: Outgoing Server TLS or SSL Secure Encrypted Connection: Yes (On or Required) Change that to "TLS if available" See what happens. If you are still having problems there is the Web Mail extension for Tb that handles Hotmail, GMail to name a couple. »webmail.mozdev.org/ -- "Facts not FUD!"

Try changing the "Outgoing server (SMTP):" to "587". If that does not work contact your ISP to verify if they're blocking Port 25 and if so which port to use. I know with AT&T (SBC) So. CA (USA) users have to use 587 for the Outgoing server (SMTP) port setting for sending email via email servers other than AT&T's.
