MPA blocking files on Usenet

Like the files Bride Wars. Not even sure what that is but hearing reports of this. How is it even possible for the MPA to block files ? I am curious. Guessing it is a tv show. Sounds like it.

Not what *show*. You said: "hearing reports". I'm asking what *reports*? Where are you "hearing" this?

Not that it really matters but Bride Wars is a movie, not a tv show. One that my daughter dearly loves, ugh.

How are they doing this?

Could they perhaps be sending bogus cancel requests or something, or maybe corrupting posts?

And on what providers servers is this happening, or is it perhaps on NZB sites like Newzbin (which is involved in a legal battle with the MPA)?

There are too many places for such files to propagate on Usenet to make such blocking by them impractical at best. And chances are they are utterly failing at blocking them.

Your point? MPA requests take down provider removes post as request to avoid lawsuit. They have been doing this for years.
