Re: Newbie Question - Where to learn about/discuss outages?

Way back when, ISP's used to publish their outages and maintenance records online for their users. But the ISP's soon found out it was bad for future client signups. And most have stopped doing the practice and now force users to saturate call support with calls and then the user gets accused of having an infection.

"Right of Innocence".

Without message boards, people would keep sending their computers for repair and upgrades, because call support said so.
