BPL never really got off the ground. Won't be seeing any sign of it around Canada. (As far as I know there were zero deployments of it in Canada)
They had it in Sault Ste. Marie for a few years but it died out. It was supposed to be as fast as 5MB but I never saw it over 3MB. It was cheaper and faster to go with cable or dsl.
