Photos, Music and Media Manager

The FIOS site for Media Manager states:

*You must subscribe to the
DVR service to use Media Manager.
**Media Manager feature is only supported on
a home network using Verizon FiOS Internet
and a Verizon-supplied router.

Does this first statement mean that you no longer need Home Media DVR, just regular DVR to access photos and music from PC?

Re: Photos, Music and Media Manager

You need the MRDVR to do photos, music, and soon to stream video from the web. It is a software upgrade option that makes a DVR a MRDVR. Check the Verizon FIOS TV website for details

Nah dude. You need the MRDVR feature in order to use the Media Manager. It is necessary.

If you don't already have the feature, billing/sales/customer service can add it for you. For some kind of fee, of course.
