Hello there,
I have had issues with Rogers throttling anything encrypted since they started this whole throttling business.
I regularly use IPSEC, PPTP and SSH Tunneled VPN solutions. All have been affected, and are usually unreliable enough to force me onto my other internet connection.
It is a pitiful thing that one now requires multiple internet feeds to get around different forms of throttling.
I gave up on trying to get Rogers to respond a long time ago - I think the only way they will change is if forced to by the CRTC / Net Neutrality legislation.
In other words - Fat chance.
Good luck to you - I really wish there was a reliable option.

PS - It is my understanding that unless you are zoned commercial you cannot get Rogers Business internet. Even if you could, I've also heard that they throttle it too. |
