| reply to swintec Re: Those Who Rented A Car From Enterprise
Enterprise sucks. On the rare occasions I rent from them, they still give me the bullshit lines about really needing their supplemental insurance (I don't), and that my Amex doesn't provide rental car coverage (it does). I don't expect much from a rental car, but is it too much to have a full god damned gas tank when I start out? |

I found out, to the tune of $900+. Good thing I kept a copy of the contract I signed... Never enterprise ever again. |

| reply to moonpuppy I've submitted Amex damage claims twice in the past ten years for rental cars (both parking lot scrape types) and my involvement consisted of (a) a phone call, (b) mailing in the paperwork to Amex, and (c) getting a letter 2 months later saying it was all taken care of.
Then again, I don't rent cards from Billy Bob's Shitbox Rental like the guy in your quoted article. |

They might not have since AMEX is a pretty big account to lose.
And if you read what I wrote, I said they "may not" not that they wouldn't. |
