Your line does have a pretty high margin, so it should support 7.1Mbps.

I would think that your line can support 7.1. Your stats are actually better than my current stats. I currently have 7.1 and my stats are noted below. If Verizon is correct, they claim I am about 7,500 feet from my local central office. I believe they will provision for 7.1 up to 8,000 feet.

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7616 kbps 864 kbps
Line Attenuation 39.0 db 20.0 db
Noise Margin 15.0 db 12.0 db

I don't see how that is possible. Download margin is only 7.5 dB at 3360 kbps. Line attenuation indicates you are very far from Central Office about 15,000 feet. I think limit is 12,000 feet for 3000/768 service, less for 7100/768.

I thought that too. I figured I would get another opinion as well, never hurts. I guess I'll see what magic VZ comes up with to make it happen. Though I expect either nothing to happen or a phone call stating that I can not be upgrade to the higher speed.
