Growing up, I lived in a town that was split down the middle -- we had Brookhaven Cable Television, many of my friends had Viacom (now CV of Hauppauge).<br><br>We used the Jerrold box on the top for many years.. When I was a kid, I lived in an area that was serviced by Suburban Cablevision (now Comcast).  We had those Jerrold boxes too.  You used to be able to sort of see the softcore stuff if you push the 2, 4, and 7 buttons all at the same time, and roll the wheel on the right all the way to the top.  Ahh, the good old days!!]]></description>

I still remembering having the black Jerrold/General Instrument boxes only 10 years ago and further back.  Also remember a few people I knew how easy it was to descramble premium channels along with free PPV with those boxes as well.]]></description>
