| No bandwidth since May?
I'm relatively new, and when my June bandwidth meter was showing zero I thought that maybe it only showed at the end of a month. Now that it's July, and June still shows zero, I'm wondering if there's a problem. Using the same username for May shows some pretty realistic looking usage.
Is the bandwidth monitor generally up to date or do I likely have a problem to call in about?

| reply to pnear Yup the bandwidth monitor is broken. I guess they will fix it soon, MLPPP was more of an issue.
You want to try this program it monitors your bandwidth. I haven't tried it personally though.

| reply to tor So how does TSI monitor for billing and how can I manage to the cap? I'm almost certain that I'm nowhere near it, as my normal usage kept me generally under Cogeco's 60GB cap.
An app on my computer won't help, I've got several PCs connected through a DLink single router.
It's not a big deal, I just haven't had a full month to guage usage yet since switching and don't want to be surprised. If nobody's counting right now then c'est la vie. I'll get to it once it's fixed.
Thanks, Pete |

| TekSavvy's bandwidth tracking backend is working correctly, it's just the user-accessible bandwidth checker that's broken. Their frontend in the office might still be working though, and people have mentioned calling in or posting in the direct forum to get your current usage. But I don't know if they'll actually be able to give it to you.
They also haven't said if they'll be charging for overages from last month yet. It might get billed automatically, but considering the kind of company they are, I'm sure they'll be lenient if you call in and complain about it.
It should also be noted that overages are charged based on a 2 month average. So even if you used 250GB last month, you won't be charged overage fees until you've used 150GB this month. In other words, unless you used a total of over 400GB in May and June, you won't be charged anything extra for last month. On the other hand, if your June/July total is over 400GB, you could still end up paying for bandwidth used in June. |

@teksavvy.com | reply to pnear I'm sure it will be resolve soon, they had more important issue unfortunately. I am crossing my fingers they will fixed soon. Patience is a virtue btw.
I have only gone past 200 gigs only once and I been with Teksavvy over a year. |
