Was out swimming this afternoon, and saw a healthy amount of smoke to the south in Temecula. Drove that way for a bit to get a closer look, and got a few pics of some helo's getting water from the water shed which just happens to be adjacent from the fire...

Naturally, just yesterday the county decided to cutback on fire resources in the area.

The wind is blowing it's normal off shore for the afternoon (following the arrow), pushing the fire down the hill...

Was looking for ghosty's notice, and he snuck in while I was uploading the pics from my phone
