The quick disconnect.
Make sure you use at least Teflon tape on the new brass fitting. Easy as pie, just use a real wrench to firm it up.
Just get the correct size |

1 edit | You left out, that the tape has to be the Yellow Gas only tape, not the White tape. Personally, I would call back the person that did the job, and have them come out & install the Quick Connect, since it was paid to be done in the first place.

I think it's shitty that the installer didn't put the quick connect on.
'Course we don't know what they paid or if they had the grill then but I think all of these quick connections are the same size. |

| It is most likely that the 'rents did not tell the installer, and he assumed that they where going to make a more permanent connection, instead of a quick connect. Which yes, you never assume anything.
