Ah yes, I only like Kobe when he is winning when I hated when they won all those championships back from 2000-2003 seeing how they beat someone I like more than Kobe in AI... then after Shaq left I was a Kobe fan even during the rough years but apparently I wasn't? even though there are threads of me sticking up for kobe while you bashed him... now the real thing is you went and stuck up for Steve Nash when he was nasty with the Suns now it's Lebron James...

This year in the playoffs his MPG went up to 31.4 and his PPG went up to 11.3.
Artest career average is 16.1 @ 34.8 MPG. This year in the Playoffs he averaged 15.6 @ 37.5 MPG.
Artest's first 5 years he averaged 13.2 PPG @ 31.2 MPG.
I don't think it's fair to compare PPG between a guy that averages 14 more minutes a game in the regular season for his career. You can see by the numbers the more minutes Ariza has gotten his production has went up. And this is playing with one of the biggest ball hogs (deservedly so) in the league.
Now Artest plays hands down better defense and may fit like a glove in this system like Pippen did in Chicago. But damn he's a loose canon that could cause some problems. |

Also a 43 percent FG isn't horrible in my opinion...I think it is very good considering majority of those shots were tough shots. Those aren't point blank range...which a good center always do. Try to compare Kobe's FG with the same position and you can see 43 is very good. |

I never commented on Kobe's FG %. But I can say its not as good as Jordans. Just another stat to look at. Dont try to tell us Jordan didn't have to hit tough shots. Alot of the ways Kobe is guarded today came from what teams learned guarding MJ.
