I got a Motorola SB5100 modem And live in an apartment building. I had ordered the Blast! package.
This is what I test out on Speedtest.net
Is that ok for that? I noticed in the 16/2 and 12/2 thread up top some people were getting over 20mbps downstream. |

I'm just on a plain old 6/1 tier. I would expect a BLAST customer to have significantly better results? Of course, the speed tests are bunk...

Mine has consistently been at this speed no matter which time I do a speedtest. 3 am or 12 pm. Doesn't matter. |

Are you guys on DOCSIS 3.0? I have blast in Frederick County, MD. I'm looking in to ordering it today. Combined with Digital Voice. $52.95 for Blast here and it says 16/1. Are those powerboost results you guys are getting? I don't know how your guys' ups are like 3-8mbps. No DOCSIS 3.0 here although. |

However my modem is a Motorola SB5100 which is Docsis 2.0 capable. Maybe I dont have powerboost? Even though it says so you dont need anything for Powerboost to take effect.
