3 edits | you cant unless you are a tech and have all the security tools and such and are authorized by them to work on their main lines. if your ordering tv you could just order that and self install a modem later. but thats about it. FWIW, it costs comcast a lot more than 99.00 to have a tech come out and do it. im guessing with the bandwidth your using you dont have any time to watch the actual tv set |

You can get a discount on the CHSI installation (in most areas) if you order over the phone. Online, its a flat rate of $99.
In chicago, its also $99 or over the phone $50, with the discount. If you order Cable and/or Phone, you can set up CHSI yourself.
Only reason why you cant set it up yourself without any other services, is beacuse there is no active line going to the house, in most cases. |
