Re: 2wire 2701 HG-d Wireless problems What power level and channel are you using? Try power 10 and channel 10 (or 2). Avoid channels 1 and 11 because the 2wire products tend to revert back to 40% power levels when using these channels.
Where is your 2701 located? Is it near a subwoofer or other source of electromagnetic energy? How many walls are between the modem and the wireless devices connecting to it? Is it in a Faraday cage? Is there a tesla coil nearby? Had any thermonuclear explosions recently?
Some of that is obviously a bit of sarcasm, but you get the drift. Evaluate your placement of the radio transmitters, line of sight is best. Eliminate possible sources of interference. Ensure you are taking full advantage of your equipment's capabilities.
