anon : Well back up after 1.5 days. tech call my cell and asked to come by, but by that time the wife said it was working again. I asked him if he did anything and it sounded like he said something about jumpers :-\ ... Noticed a telus van next door today, wonder if there was some kinda mix up or if it was a neighborhood problem. Oh well Im back up I guess...

anon : 24 hrs now and still not working. the se567 dsl light comes on now but no internet light. tryed the old dlink604 and the adsl light is on but cant get a ip from telus. call telus this morning and they said tech would call and come out but never did. Tech coming out right now would be very difficult as free time for me is a LUXURY! My connection from the outside line is as such. outside line -> Pots -> phone line to phones and dsl to 4foot cat5 cable to jack then to modem. months back my call displayed stopped working for no reason the magically worked again. wonder if there is problems with the under ground lines around here. gona disconnect (all) phone lines from the pot to make sure it is not an inside line problem. wonder if the pot it self is bad... Obviously its not a city wide outage. no internet and no time to fix it. :-(

CanGumby : Need more information than that. There is exremely rare for an outage that will cause an neighborhoods phone or DSL to go down. If your DSL isn't working, it's your line which is having issue.

I suggest calling 310-2255 and talk to a CSR who can help you further.
