It's Microsoft though some show stopper could pop up. |

Re: [WIN7] RTM confirmed for 7/13 Does this mean the following deal will go away on that date? »promotions.newegg.com/Microsoft/···dex.html
Edit: My paranoia got the best of me and I purchased Vista Business in order to get the free Win7 Pro upgrade. -- "Careful, we don't want to learn from this!" --Calvin & Hobbes |

RTM just means that they're releasing it to manufacturing for use with systems on October 22nd, so I don't see how that has any relation to the free upgrade program, provided of course you properly qualify for that. I do remember, however, that under prior upgrade programs the license for the original purchase (in your case Vista) is voided once the upgrade is made, so you may not have a license for both Vista and 7 in the end. -- "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows . . . . Geeksmack saying essentially the same thing.
Looks good for 7600, but guess we will know more tomorrow. -- The god of the religious is the one that they were programmed to believe in, and the god the atheist doesn't believe in isn't the God that is.
