Re: [DSL] Those flashing red lights If you mean the ADSL LED Flashing Red, that depends on exactly what Brand/Model ADSL Modem is in use as some don't have Red as an option for the ADSL LED. Solid Red though on the Power LED is usually a POST failure indication.
When in doubt of the ADSL signal reaching the ADSL Modem or not, going straight to the NID with the Modem and plugging it into the Test Jack is the quickest diagnostic test to perform. That will determine if the ADSL signal is down/not reaching the residence at all or if the inside wiring is interfering with the ADSL Signal.
