 You could try uninstalling the display adapter driver and then reinstall the display adapter driver using the latest version available:

join:2008-03-05		 Ok, did that. I have a different display in the way of resolution, but when I try to click on "Display" in the Control Panel, I'm still getting the same message and can not change it.
