I can't comment on the build, but the case is the same one as I have. I like the case. Just one tip for you.
On the front of the case where the HDD cooling fan is (mine is led blue) there is a fine screen behind the outer mesh covering the fan.
This will get dusty enough to start blocking the air flow going over the HDD's. Keep an eye on the HDD temps.
You wont see the dust buildup just by looking at the front of the case.
The bottom of the front panel just pulls straight out (a bit stubborn but it does come off) and the front comes off. Just a quick vacuum on the screens, pop the front back on and your good to go.

It looks ok to me. I would check the ram product numbers against this link. I would confirm and use 1.65v modules. I would stay at 1.65v or below as intel specifies.

Here is what the Microcenter site says about the ram.

The OCZ PC3-10666 triple-channel memory kit is designed specifically for the Intel® Core™ i7 processor / Intel® X58 Express Chipset. Optimized for the Core i7's triple channel mode, these new 3GB, 6GB, and 12GB kits ensure optimal performance via an ideal combination of low voltage requirements, speed, and latency. Developed for enthusiasts and early-adopters, the low voltage OCZ Triple Channel solutions are the choice counterparts for leading-edge performance that won't inhibit the functionality of Core i7 CPUs. In addition, modules are tested in matched triplets ensuring superior compatibility.

I guess that means im ok?

If this is what you are looking at:

yes the OCZ3P1333LV12GS should be ok. The 6GB kit version is also on the qualified vendor list for your motherboard so you should have good luck with the 12GB kit.

Yup, thats the one! Thanks. I am leaving in a couple hours to get all the parts. Hopefully it goes without a hitch. Looking forward to having a beast.

If you haven't already RAID 0 the raptors and you're looking at some crazy speed.

Ive never played any with RAID... so probably above my head.

What kind of speed increase would I see? To late now to do it probably since computer is already done?

Speed on load will fly. It shouldn't be hard to do now just create an image of your current HD and then just setup the two raptors as raid and then flash the image on to them. Depending on how much space you system takes now shouldn't take more than an hour to do.

Sounds easy enough. One of the Raptors is already the OS drive.

How would I "flash the image" to the other one? Ghost? Then what? is this something set up in the bios or do I need a standalone controler or software or what? Pros/Cons of each way?

Ghost over to your 1TB drive include MBR and then re-image after you setup the two Raptors as Raid.

You will need to setup your BIOS to show it which drives you are using as RAID and what configuration you are using RAID 0.

Pros/Cons of each way?
Pro: Might be faster, depends on the controller.

Con: Double the likelihood a drive failure will take out the partition.

Yeah that is a con but with all of the drive space he has on other drives it only makes sense that he be running a back-up plan.

If I was running RAID I would always have a full back-up and keep it up to date weekly.
