Our clients are having fun right now, because no one is working, and they get a nice message stating that the call centers are closed for our state agencies.

With the Bicentennial Celebration this weekend, County & City also got the day off.
Unable to watch TV all of a sudden

Tibur0n posted : Box: DCT6412

I've been at work at week and noticed the cable box was sitting at channel 32 the whole time. I figured it was probably recording the Family Guy series, so I thought nothing of it.

I finally got today off and went to go watch some TV and turned it on and it is sitting at "One moment please". So I figured it might be a signal issue (again), so I do the power off + select method to check quality and both tuners are above 34db.

I go back to normal and notice all the channels are doing that. So I reboot the box and the same thing continues to happen except now signal info page is showing all N/As.

I try the factory reset (Plug box in while holding power and menu). It does the downloading processing and sets the time and it looks like it is good to go.

Unfortunately when I go to watch TV it still is saying "One moment please" on all the channels and whatever channel I set it too still shows as N/A on the signal quality page.

Anyone have any ideas what is wrong with my box? (Downstairs cable works, and I figure if the signal was dead it wouldn't be able to download the factory restore firmware)

Thanks
--
WinBeta Staff
