[DSL] Sharing a PPPoE connection

I've been working with an organization in Uganda to help set up a computer school / internet cafe. While I was there Uganda Telecom set us up with a temporary ISDN line to share and I used Windows ICS to share the connection (mix of mostly WinXP Pro and some Vista).

UT has now changed to a ADSL modem (PPPoE) and I'm having a bear of a time getting it to share the connection. I'm logging in via Logmein, so i can make some changes with the help of a volunteer on the ground in Uganda.

Here's the details:

Its a Huawei MT880 modem. It has routing functions that I've turned off. It connected via cat5 to a Asus 520gu router that is doing the routing functions (wireless & wired). The Asus is running Tomato firmware that has a spot to pass off PPPoE credentials. I've set it to do that, but it doesn't seem like it wants to. The only way they can connect is by using the PPPoE dialing app built into XP. That's fine, but its only 1 computer, rendering the internet cafe and the school nearly useless.

I've never had to deal with PPPoE, so I'm struggling to help.

Does anyone have any ideas.

You should look @ what the Tomato Logs & see what the PPPoE error message states.
