| [Poll] Best Bad Guys
Okay, so tell me who you think is the best bad guys of all time.
Note, 'guys' is plural and asexual, so I'm not talking about one single protagonist (ie: Dracula), but rather a group of baddies say, Vampires.
Of course I won't think of everything, so add in your ideas below.

| Although The Borg and The Sentinels have always given me the shivers, I ended up choosing Other because the Best Bad Guy for me is the idea of absolute evil in general. If I had to give it a name, it would be Darkness from Legend. Absolute corruption with a little devil thrown in for good measure. -- "Um, he's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious." | |

Well, I'm working from home today so I can always pop both movies into the dvd player and do a comparison. -- "Um, he's sick. | So among the fake bad guys it has to be the Borg, assimilation is worse than death, and resistance is futile.
For real bad guys, it has to the the Communists, the most effective and widespread killing regime in human history. The Nazis were more efficient, but the Communists had more time and more countries to kill in. -- All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing - Edmund Burke. Pfft, everyone knows that the Borg were either outright wiped out or put pretty close to it when Voyager got back to Earth. -- I swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Canada, Her Heirs and Successors, and that I will faithfully observe the laws of Canada and fulfil my duties as a Canadian citizen.

I'd have to agree... i picked the Goa'uld and the Borg.. but completely forgot about the replicators. Those things were nasty.

said by Kardinal :[ x ] Daleks Their single-minded "Kill the Dr! Kill the Dr!" makes them an awesome foe. I know they changed it in the new series, however the original Daleks had certain limitations.
I voted for Xenomorphs, specifically the ones created/imaged/pulled from the depth of hell, by H.R. Giger. Actually anything this guy draws/sculpts is both disturbing and intriguing.
