Progress. Other browser devs are not waiting around and are taking advantage of faster computers as well as web site design.

I prefer Fx v3.5 over eariler versions. It is faster, searching from the Address Bar means I can do away with the bookmark bar, media handling is better in Fx v3.5 over past versions as well as security enhancements vs the old lock only and having to click through various windows to see site internals and security which I can get under one window now.

Just my opinion of course.

I haven't used the address bar since version .07.

I despise that option, and I have my own setup for privacy deleting data after,so I don't need the Private browsing.

Hopefully they see the way of their errors and get back to the basics............this version isn't anymore secure than mine!

As strictly a notebook user I like having my real estate back by losing the bookmark bar.

Since there are now 3 choices for the address bar search that is fine with me.

As for them going backwards I do not see it happening. You would have more of a chance to see a version 3+ with the pre Fx v1.0 Address Bar from a 3rd Party Fx developer.
