Thane_Bitter : Yes, you can have the Bell thing handle the login, or let your router do it, and depending on which Bell modem/router even both.

I have tried all three, however am currently letting the Bell supplied device handle the DSL login so I can keep an eye on my linestats. Very simlar to what Marshals has, however I have several routers (for different networks) all feeding into the Bell rental modem/router.
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">

stuff

marshals : I've got 2wire 2701HG taking care of the pppoe and routing/forwarding. I'd like to have more control over it thru the MDC menus, like the firewalls, logging and stuff. Guess that will never happen.

Then in my lan, its got its own linksys wrt54g with 2 computers, sometimes three computers.

I've also tried disabling pppoe on the 2wire and having linksys wrt54g connect via pppoe. Works fine that way too.
