[Rave] TigerDirect shipping...it's GRRRRRREAT!

Dang!

Had to get new batteries for two of the family laptops, and TD was offering the HP 12-cell for less than the off-brand 6-cell, so I ordered two on Tuesday. They estimated delivery on Thursday by UPS ground (normally 3 - 5 business days), so I scoffed!

Well, the scoff is on me. They arrived yesterday evening! Woo Hoo!

Same thing happened with the HP refurb I raved about recently -- got here in incredibly short shipping time.

I'm starting to like TigerDirect!

Re: [Rave] TigerDirect shipping...it's GRRRRRREAT!

I've ALWAYS liked UPS. But some companies (and they know who they are) like to CLAIM that they'll get your order out the same day you make it...but they don't. They "electronically notify" UPS that they have stuff to be shipped, but don't actually surrender the order to UPS for a day or two or more.

So, I like TigerDirect because they SHIP when they SAY they will.

Yeah, it's great when the merchant and shipper get it right.
