You need port forwarding entries if - You have a web cam or ftp server accessed on the Internet - Certain games that run on your PC and have Internet-based opponents - You use certain Internet-based file backup service
That's about all I can think of. Normally, port forwarding and virtual server/trigger ports are never automatically created by software you install. Cannot be. So someone created those entries.
Tell your router admin funcition to save settings to a file on your PC. Then you can delete some/all of these and see what impact it has to use of your PC. You can revert, using the saved settings and the router admin.
Don't use any port forwarding settings you don't need. Creates a serious security hole, if those port forwards direct data to one of your active PCs. |
