You mean you've experienced the problem every single day since you got the service, 4, 6,10 years ago?

Do tell us more

i reported the disconnects many times and all the techs do is come out and test the signal and they say it's ok. however, this is still an on-going problem.

i'm trying to check the modem signal but when i go to 192.168.100.1 it asks for a username and password. what should i put?

If you're having problems now, Boost probably won't fix them.

Have you checked your signal levels? Reported the disconnects to Tech Support?

»192.168.100.1/ -> Depending on your modem, that should let you check the signal levels.

i have the standard optonline service and constantly experience random disconnects every single day. i tried using a different router and also a new NIC on my computer but i am still getting the disconnects. i even tried bypassing the router altogether and just connecting from the modem into my computer but still the same result.

now, i do constantly use my internet connection for browsing, downloading, and gaming and so i'm wondering if i should upgrade my service to optimum boost to help alleviate my problems. anyone have a suggestion? thanks.
