i have the standard optonline service and constantly experience random disconnects every single day.\ You mean you've experienced the problem every single day since you got the service, 4, 6,10 years ago?

| reply to xanaty i reported the disconnects many times and all the techs do is come out and test the signal and they say it's ok. however, this is still an on-going problem.
i'm trying to check the modem signal but when i go to 192.168.100.1 it asks for a username and password. what should i put? |

| reply to xanaty If you're having problems now, Boost probably won't fix them.
Have you checked your signal levels? Reported the disconnects to Tech Support?

| i have the standard optonline service and constantly experience random disconnects every single day. i tried using a different router and also a new NIC on my computer but i am still getting the disconnects. i even tried bypassing the router altogether and just connecting from the modem into my computer but still the same result.
now, i do constantly use my internet connection for browsing, downloading, and gaming and so i'm wondering if i should upgrade my service to optimum boost to help alleviate my problems. anyone have a suggestion? thanks. |
