Re: What Are The Best Options To Forward Google Voice To An ATA

said by hoolahoous:

how about DTMF
I have an IPKall number forwarded directly to my ATA (using dyndns.com for DNS). Placing an outgoing call using GV (where they are calling you back thru the IPKall number) the dtmf works fine.

actually i wanted to forward the GV number to DISA using password. So that I can dialtone from my local asterisk when I dial in GV number. For some reason I could not get the the inbound DTMF working.

I am facing the same issue as hoolahoous. My DISA works perfectly with a IpKall incoming number to my Asterisk server (Elastic 1.3-2) however the same DISA does not work if i forward the google voice number to my server through Gizmo.

The inbound route works if i forward the incoming call to an extension but not DISA.

Not sure if Google voice or Gizmo does not like the sip signalling for DISA. Not sure why would it be different than a normal call.

Sorry, my issue is probably not the same issue as hoolahoous's. I cannot even connect to my DISA. It just keeps ringing and then goes to the Google Voice Voicemail.
