On your boot drive (the C disk) there should be a hidden file called "boot.ini" it will look something like the following - [boot loader] timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect ************* The easiest way to change boot.ini (and safest) is to run "msconfig" from the run screen (start -> run -> msconfig). Go to the boot.ini tab then select the version of Windows you want to boot, set the timer to 0 and it should boot that and without any noticeable delay. It is also possible to directly edit the boot.ini file which is a hidden system file on your boot (C:) drive. Generally it isn't a good idea to edit this file directly, unless you know what you are doing, and are prepared to repair a potentially dead system drive. -- "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use."

Yes i did actually have both HD attached when i tried to first do a clean install and the OS installed on the Baracuda drive (2nd Sata) by mistake. I then removed the Baracuda drive and kept just the maxtor which went ok but for the 3 OS. ....What i cannot understand is i only attached the baracuda after the multiple OS problem! So how come it showed 3 OS on multiboot menu when only maxtor was attached? PS i removed the jumpers on the baracuda as i wanted the maxtor as the 1st drive detected, is this OK? Thanks
