:I've had my DHCP WAN IP for so long, it's as if it's a static IP. The only reference point I've seen for staying on PPPoE is the ease in getting a new IP. Most of them who wanted that seemed to use it for hiding their IP.
Down side of my IP is that it's geolocated to my CO.

www.geobytes.com/ipLocator.htm and pppoe these days really doesnt do much to hide you. Constant shifting of ip's really only means they just bank your fq dn and mask so i dont see the point.
