Want to take any bets on the lack of outrage there will be over this? Trust the dear leader, he knows whats best for all of us. Perhaps, though this summary is a little different because it's talking about the data between the government networks and everyone else basically.
That actually makes sense because most of the "hacking" that takes place in business is from within, same as with this country. To worry about a bunch of hackers from China or Russia is one thing, but if you don't pay attention within, countries are often destroyed from within.
So yeah, it's Big Brother sitting between the government networks and us. I'm actually fine with that. The only problem I have is when big brother is sitting between Us and Us again. That's where I draw the line.
So it's a double-edge sword. I want the government to be diligent in not setting up some awesome monitoring data center for it's network and the rest of the world but ignoring our own networks within. But at the same time, I don't want some dip*hit to able to abuse access by stepping into the private sector networks just to get back at his girlfriend or to help his buddies at XYZ corporation spy on a competing company. -- Fight Insight Ready (Was NebuAD) and the like: Click Here to pollute their data |

So if McCain had won, would it be us typing the same thing but reverse the "Thanks McCain Voters" instead?
When you build the alternate quantum universe machine so we can view alternate realities to see what would be happening if someone had won for President let us know. Otherwise you are just pissing face first into the wind as far as the rest of us are concerned. -- Fight Insight Ready (Was NebuAD) and the like: Click Here to pollute their data |

So if McCain had won, would it be us typing the same thing but reverse the "Thanks McCain Voters" instead? No. I would condemn it as loudly as I DID when Bush was president. I will continue to lay the beginnings of the destruction of our liberty at his feet as well - this NSA program being the whole of it.
But O'Bama continues to violate his apparent ideology by supporting the eventual end of an individuals sovereignty.
I'm part of a huge group of Bush voters who condemn him over this. But to OBots, the future of their grandchildren is a fair price for having their Golden God anchored in place.

No kidding. Want to take any bets on the lack of outrage there will be over this? Trust the dear leader, he knows whats best for all of us. If Obama does it, it is all for the good of the citizens. When Bush did it it was evil. The majority of the press is in Obama's pocket. They are nothing but paid shills for the Democratic party.
With that said I see nothing wrong with the NSA monitoring traffic to .Gov web sites in order to prevent cyber-attacks by enemies of the US. But at least I am consistent in my beliefs. I supported this under Bush and I support it now. But it is hard not to see the hypocrisy of the left in this matter. -- My BLOG .. .. Internet News .. .. My Web Page |

NV If you read at the top of the page they are basically going to "spy" on anyone doing business with the government. They have every right to do that just as any company can record the communications their employees make.
Now if you show me an article where he is going to spy on Americans for no reason like Bush did then I will be worried. -- For those of you playing a drinking game.... MY FRIENDS! |
