The government has no inherent right to privacy in most circumstances. This is a move towards Gov transparency, and monitoring possible corruption with "contractors". Bob Now, O'Bama went to the bother to actually attend the vote for NSA Data mining (aka Telecom immunity) and give it his endorsement. Likewise he's made no effort to hamper the NSA's efforts to collect our data in any way.
So the efforts to gain complete data collections on US citizens continues on as planned.
But what you're saying is
that this data created by US citizens,
that will be storehoused forever,
isn't part of an effort to gather data on US citizens.
Why? Because it's being put to another purpose at the moment.
That sure does sound a whole lot like BOb voter speak to me.
