You can probably reach bios, you just cannot see what you are doing, since there is no image.
I would guess that video card is an add-on card and should be replaceable. You would need to start disassembling the system to check it out

1 edit | I chatted with HP technician and he said it's hardware issue.
The video card is in-built on the motherboard and it's approximately
$400 to replace that.
The nearest HP support center is in Best Buy. The thing is I don't trust those Geek Squads people as they proved to be useless in most cases.
What would you do? |

kudos:2 | i would find the part number of the board (may be under or around the memory bay area) and see if you can find a cheaper board and have a local place or friend/relative do it.
Its just a matter of removing everything and putting everything back in and not shorting the board in the process.
There may be guides on the internet for your specific system. (walk you through how to do it)

Btw the cheaper board I have found on the internet is $275.
So I think that to ship it to HP and let them to replace it and get extended warranty is smarter then to do it myself.
