I won't be getting a DVR again till fall, gives them time to work out the HDMI bug(hopefully) and get some more stocked up. Since my promo ended, I trimmed about $70/mo off my cable bill by going to limited basic. Once fall comes 'round, I'll be eligible for a new promo. When i called comcast, i was told either to use component, wait a few months, or get an older box. I will wait for a firmware update. When i checked the internet, motorola finished a firmware update earlier this week and sent it to comcast and other providers and when comcast finishes testing it, will be rolled out through the system.

All i get is a green screen with audio. Not everybody has this issue though.

The HD STB from the Cable Co. are for limited Time Shifting only. Record a show and watch it and then delete it.
