| How come very few read the article??? All the complaints are saying Obama is now like Bush.
What the article at the top of the page says is the government is going to spy on the government. They are going to record all communications the goverment makes. This is no different than any company recording all the communications their employees make.
Bush spied on all Americans with no reason to do so. Bush violated the constitution.
People need to stop twisting the facts and freaking out. Republicans please read the article before you claim he was like your great leader bush. -- For those of you playing a drinking game.... MY FRIENDS! |

And that would be the difference between Bush Voters and OBots.
Bush voters voted for Bush to do something. OBots voted for O'Bama to be something.

Bush was bashed for authorizing the government to spy on any American for no reason at all. Two totally different things. -- For those of you playing a drinking game.... MY FRIENDS! |

A more accurate evaluation would be that Bush was bashed for warrantlessly wiretapping a very limited number individuals, even though the FISA courts would hand out warrants like candy. A meaningless concern since the FISA courts were already cooperating as much as is possible. However Bush was given a complete pass on empowering the NSA to tap the communications of Every Single American without any consideration of a warrant at all. This is a far more dangerous aspect of the surveillance bills that O'Bama supports to the best of his ability.
That's if you wanted to avoid dishonesty by omission.

Come on where is the outrage, the sputtering, the condemning?? When the libs tried to claim (and obviously still do TRY) that Bush was "secretly spying" on citizens (EVERY citizen no less ), the whining was out of control. Now that Obama claims he's only monitoring government entities, it's "oh, ok, sure, it's Obama, we believe him, carry on". Talk about being obviously hypocritical, not to mention looking plain silly in trying to defend this because it's OBAMA doing it.
This is almost too funny for words, watching the defenders try to explain this away. -- You can chain my body to the earth, but still my spirit flies!

2 edits | Outrage for what? Every company in American can legally spy on their employees why is the government any different.
If you conduct business with the government they have every right to log and records their own communications.
This article is about government spying on government not citizens. Bush spied on citizens for no reason. If you want to bitch about that start a new topic.

No conservative would support the republican party or their anti-conservative cut taxes, spend more agenda. The only thing we need to worry about in this country is our debt.
