I do realize this was about New Zealand but it is a lesson to us here in the USA.
And I think I will call up my congresswoman and ask about what she will do.We must all work together to stop this from happening in the USA.Some companies here are already doing it and it is totally inexcusable.These companies are not hurting for cash they are just plain greedy. |

2 edits | I believe shaping, throttling, caps, etc., all have roles as valid network management tools if they're implemented correctly. "Inexcusable" is relative to who's managing a network and attempting to make a profit. Your sweeping statement about not hurting for cash ignores a big swath of smaller ISPs that may not have over abundant resources. |
