Heh, well, from the responses above, this mostly served to prove that it's a duopoly for "wired" service. I did notice Speakeasy (who end up deploying via Covad, right?) offer a DSL+VoIP package that's probably somewhat competitive, as far as including the 'premium' feature of static IPs. Maybe some lesser-knowns also have something like that.
