I have been looking at the Samsungs. Anyone have any advice as to a good one and where is the best place to pick it up at? -- Be nice to your enemies. It will confuse them.

I love it, no dead pixels, excellent contrast ratio with very deep and defined black levels along with brilliant colors. No blurring in games such as COD4 and Quake4 and they look stunning in widescreen mode. Movies look very clean and clear. Looking back, I kind of wish I had gone with a 24 inch like you are planning to do. Spend time going through the customer reviews at Newegg for models that fit what you are looking for and you pretty much can't go wrong. Good luck! -- My Jeep is not an SUV. Your SUV is not a Jeep.

The real reason why monitors are going the 1920x1080 route is because of hdmi and 1080 being the broadcast/bluray standard.
